But the only reason it was tied is because he turned the puck over in the offensive zone and then got scored on 1 minute later after he iced the puck twice because he was tired and the panthers scored on the faceoff after the 2nd one.

I doubt it. Not to minimize it but, it's normally done for high profile deaths. Honestly I doubt Kane would want that right now. I could be wrong though.
