As a winger, I think he was imagined as a speedy, up-and-down crash-and-bang guy, but I don't think he has the speed for that. He also doesn't really have the skills to be a finesse winger. After that, his size and his defensive acumen make him an ideal center.

Of course he has the speed to be an up-and-down crash-and-bang 4th line winger. He doesn't need to have blazing speed to do that for that role and level. He doesn't have the defensive acumen to be an ideal center. The only reason why he's even tried there is because he takes draws well.
