Not the Therrien way. Guys like Weise, Byron, and Mitchell are Therrien favorites because they grind and have "paid their NHL dues". Therrien is a relic of the old NHL. He comes from a time where the NHL was not a young man's, skilled game.

Unless you are a vet or a grinder, you will not be getting prime opportunities under Therrien. We've seen this time and time again for the past 4 years. This is exactly why he was such a poor choice for a "transitioning team" with so many young players.
