I'm liking Ward on the PK. He just seems really "on his toes" and pressures players into making mistakes. And speed obviously isn't an issue for him. I have to admit I wasn't super pleased about his signing, but the more I watch of him, the more I think he'll fit in great. I've always liked Ward, just didn't think he'd fit well in SJ until recently.

Donskoi already showing his defensive play. Seems a bit caught up in the play otherwise.

Who the hell is our #82? I really liked his skill on that last sequence in the offensive zone. I'm guessing it was Donskoi?

Hertl's skating looks a little better but there are still hints of the plodding hunched over stride he usually has.

I would love to see another offensive dman on the Sharks. If Martin can provide that, it's already an improvement on the defense.

Martin isn't an offensive defenseman, but I think he'll be good for 25+ points, especially if he plays the whole season with Burns. He's an excellent puck-mover.
