Wow, if Ryan isn't hurt, PDB has hit a new low. I'll say we get a repeat performance of last night. 4-3 Blues

I honestly have NO clue what Ryan has done to deserve a benching. Last year, like most, I wanted Heed to play over Demelo. But I at least understood why PDB was playing Demelo, even if I disagreed. But with Ryan I really can't see any reason why PDB wouldn't be excited to pencil him.in every night right besides Burns.

There is a slight possibility that PDB is a bad coach.

Wow things must not be good on the Ryan front, I admit, I don't know how you guys keep up with where he is or how much ice time he's getting because who cares! We have Erik Karlsson!

That's a curious decision to bench him, though id imagine its a tough transition, our top pairing was always a defensive, now its offense offense and more offense.

But that's good for the transition game, I am honestly not sold on the "transition" game, but our game is transition on quick goals anyway, but we are good at holding the puck on every area of the ice, so

im not entirely sure where the NHL is going, but I know we don't have a problem with other teams doing it like Pittsburgh. I don't know, im just waiting for the answer to the quick transition game, or something that's better than it.

I think we'll win tonight, and at least we have the Barracuda playing tonight.

I would guess that since they only use Ryan 5 on 5 they thought they could dress Heed as a PP specialist. Heed then removes Vlasic from the second unit, allowing Vlasic to play fewer pointless(double entendre) minutes on the PP. Vlasic can then focus on 5 on 5 and PKing. If that’s the plan then I understand it. I think this is all a product of Deboer overthinking everything. Karlsson and Burns don’t need to PK when you have Dillon and Ryan, and yet, Dillon and Ryan aren’t on the PK. Karlsson and Vlasic are being overused for no apparent reason. The Sharks have the depth to avoid putting defensemen in positions to fail.

If Vlasic still gets PP time today...

Or watch, the Sharks get no powerplays today and Heed never steps on the ice.

Ryan wasn’t very good yesterday, no doubt. But every f***ing player has off games and none of them have to worry about being scratched. Braun has had a half dozen games worse than Ryan yesterday and he still leads our team in ice time every other night. This is a disgrace.

I’ve defended Vlasic on the PP in years past, but now it is just completely rediculous. Why is Erik Karlsson deferring to MEV for point shots on the PP? Like what? We have so much depth right now that he should never touch the ice when we have a man advantage.
