  • Took 3 out of 4 possible points since Varly came back.
  • 5 of the next 6 at home.
  • Duchene and Iginla's chemistry is really coming along nicely.
  • Winchester should be good to go soon, which would really round out our bottom 6.

Trying to focus on the positive.

This one's going to be downright ugly, we do not stand a chance here. Expecting a physical beatdown with endless cycling and 40+ shots against us.

I'll go with 5-1 Sharks.

San Jose hasn't played defense too good lately. I say 5-4 for the Avalanche

MacK with the hat trick.

I guess the soft part of the schedule is over and will start playing good teams now.

Set the tone early. Can we score first for once?

Let's get back on track. Is it a matter of time before Mack breaks out? I'm hoping tomorrow..

High hopes. I'll gladly accept not being down 1-0 after the first shift of the hockey game. Hell, I'd take winning the opening faceoff and successfully dumping the puck into the opposition zone. Baby steps.

@BaconCrush: EJ out here skating around just fine

Thank god

@BaconCrush: Jesse Winchester not wearing pumpkin jersey. Looks ready to go.

Good too

Great news! He was probably held out the rest of the game for precautionary reasons and may have still been being tested since it was towards the end of the game.

Hopefully Winch is only one or two more games away now that he has been cleared for contact. I wouldn't be opposed to stacking him on the 3rd once he is comfortable and rolling with McGinn - Mitchell - Winchester leaving the fourth as McLeod/Cliche - Briere - Talbot

These were the lines today, so that means Tanguay was missing. Not that any of the media has noticed this. So perhaps Roy will enlighten us.

7 18 25

Hopefully just a maintenance day. He took a slapper off of the shin during a PK and seemed great the rest of the game (I think he played after that). He has been playing a more physical game this year so hopefully nothing more than a bruised shin.

Not feeling good about this one. I'm predicting a 4-1 Sharks W with Varly playing great. We'll get slaughtered.

when you say 90 - 29 - 92, is that accurate to what side O'Reilly was playing?

I like O'Reilly back to the left side if that's the case.

I'd also guess that the only reason 18 was at center on that line was to see if hes ready to play center on the 4th line.

Tomorrow, there will be the same lineup as Sunday.

Guess Winchester has to get a few more practices in.

So Chambers writes a headline that Winchester is coming back Tuesday and the Avs have to explicitly tweet that he's not. Good work.

Spevak says that Roy said Winchester might play Thursday and Tanguay is fine, just has a sore foot from taking the shot off of it yesterday.

I didn't write it, only copied. I don't know. I'd guess just a typo. Either way, not indicative of the lineup tomorrow so probably doesn't even matter.
