How did Craig Anderson start there?
I guess you saw that Vanacek was injured... he was stretching his right leg to block a shot (Bruins scored on it too) and looked like it was groin or hamstring on his left leg.

I wouldn't say that. We closed out the season very strong on the pk. Granted, they will have Kuch and Stammer back who are probably their 2 best pp players, but Point may be out.

How did they close out on the pk strong?

They gave up two to Chicago and another to Dallas? And no I'm not counting the Tampa series. If anything, the panthers having an ineffective pp against their lineup is more indicative than us killing their power plays.

Ok, negative much? Tb did have a decent lineup against us in the 1st game. Neither team had a decent lineup in the 2nd game, so they cancel eachother out. And we still scored a shorty on them. The pk in the 2nd game was especially good. Moller even talked about it, the pk swarmed tb when they got the puck near the goal and worked together in small units. They didnt allow any passing into the middle of the slot. If they keep that up, i like our chances in this series.

I consider myself a realist. I dont get too high or too low on the team. But i dont see why our pk performance is negated against tb. Even with a weakened lineup, they are still better than Chicago, Dallas, or clb.

Because the guy that makes their pp work even without kuch and stamkos was Hedman? The guy that leads them in pp scoring with 24 missed both..

You can visibly see Sergachev was not a good replacement

Bennett is gonna have a monster playoffs. Can't wait.

Teams like Tampa count on their opponents being in awe. Bennett strikes me as someone who is never impressed by his opponent. Has a very subtle arrogance to him that seems to have permeated the roster. Many feel he should not have been drafted as high as #4 overall nor will ever live up to that selection spot, and he clearly doesnt agree with them.

You may be right, but Bennett missed the 2nd game also, on the pk. Hedman is also not 100%. Even though the pp is easier minutes, it will still have an effect. We'll see what happens. There were some good signs in the last 2 games. Duclair is also becoming a solid pk'er. If anyone gets a shorty for us, I could see it being him.

For someone who loves that site, their analysis was shit. The TB strength and weakness was pretty immature. And I don’t think our depth is a weakness, it’s actually a strength.

Very flawed argument, we played against their depth players last game and you already know their results.

Tampa Bay always have difficulties when playing against us.
They are a great team and if I was forced to bet, I will bet on them but with a absolute fear that it can go the other way rapidly.

If Drieger is on the net and we don't take many penalties, our chances are greater, 5 on 5, we can hang out with this team any day of the week.

2022 Cup to Calgary
I think the plan from Q is to play Bob first, if he sh***ts the bed, he will not play another game in this round, because we have options.

In 2015, Q pulled Crawford when the Hawks went down 0-3 in game 1. Darling closed out the game (they came back and won in OT iirc) and played the next couple games.

Crawford then returned around game 4ish and proceeded to backstop their cup run.
