Glad to see Milan get Europa. Baby steps but with the new owners hope they can get back into CL soon

Baby steps indeed. They're some distance away from being the European giants they once were, but they still have a massive worldwide following and it's only a matter of time before they return to the CL.

Well, UEFA changed the rules to try to get them back in the CL. Broadcasters demanded those changes. So they will definitely get back in it soon.

Has anyone figured out yet if Milan's new owners actually have any money?

i don't know, we'll see in a few days if they already got Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez (Wolfsburg). I think is too soon to tell, we'll see in primis if Montella is a goner. If he stays i think they'll make a pitch for Kalinic and Badelj.

Erh, what ? Prodigious? Other players have scored goals earlier in every single league in football history. Just not this year.
Weird stat.

And regarding that stat, 16 year old (2001 born) Pietro Pellegri just scored for Genoa.

What a crazy match for Roma. Last match of Totti, and Perotti pulls out a winning goal in the 90th minute to secure them second place. Genoa had plenty of chances to take the 3-2 lead themselves too.

Roma clinch 2nd place and automatic spot in the CL group stages on a 90th minute GWG by Diego Perotti.

Too bad for Napoli as they will now have to go through qualifying.

Crotone go up 1-0 on Lazio as they battle for survival with Empoli.

In the Serie B promotion playoffs, Carpi were down to 9 men but still managed to score late in the match (freekick goal) and beat Frosinone 1:0 to make the final where they will play either Benevento/Perugia

Carpi vs. Benevento for the final spot in Serie A next season, continuing the recent trend of their smaller clubs getting to the top flight. If Benevento promote it means 2/3rds of the newly promoted teams into Serie A were playing in Serie C a little more than a year ago. Unlike SPAL however, Benevento have never played in the top flight, in fact this was their first ever season in the second tier. Carpi were in Serie A last season but were forced to play their matches in Modena because their home ground only seats 4,500

Maybe, but since Serie A went to 20 clubs there have been many seasons where simply the bottom 2-3 teams are very uncompetitive, off the top of my head (Treviso, Messina, Ascoli, Cesena, Pescara)...teams who win 4-5 games all season

Anyway, big problems for Palermo...they apparently owe 120 million euros in back taxes :)amazed:) and a prosecutor in Italy is investigating them. Palermo are trying to sell to foreign investors but they are in danger of being relegated to the lower leagues (they have until the end of June to secure a Serie B license) and in worst care scenario they will fold

There has never been a worse run club than Palermo.

Zamperini is insane.

Parma return to Serie B, will be interesting to see how quickly it takes for them to return to Serie A. Also looking forward to seeing if Venezia could do it as well, they have some money behind them (American ownership) and Inzaghi is their manager
