How convenient none of those include his numbers from this season.


Let's see how Price does without a ECF worthy team in front of him, Bob is the reason the jackets have made the playoffs the last couple seasons. Any jackets fan will tell you as much. Jackets are likely a lotto team without him.

Yeah, seriously. I’m a day-one Jackets STH and I’m confident that a rental Bob alone would not fetch a top-line forward unless he’s of similar age/ contract situation. It’s annoying how the majority of every fan base on here is unrealistic about the value of their players. I get the emotional attachment/ wishful thinking, but the lack of objectivity reduces these conversations to “my dad can beat up your dad” arguments. As I stated in the OP, based on the comps in the market, rental Bob would fetch a top-6 caliber forward, but not a top-line forward.
