If the club is doing things right, which I am sure they are, then we will not necessarily know when one of the core vets is scratched rather than injured. Same thing happened last year. No point in embarrassing them, unless management is trying to make a specific point to the player (e.g. the Michalek scratch).

I remember back in 2011-2012 he was much better offensively though. Who were his line-mates then? Foligno maybe? Or was that back when greening actually trying?

I remember having some nice point streaks and playing great. I think he hit a wall around January (it was his 1st full season).

I actually think there is a lot of untapped offensive potential there.
