A&W is all over the place in Indonesia, but is awful. Absolutely awful. They changed up the menu to appeal to Indonesian tastes, so it's basically a fried chicken place here. No Teen Burger, none of the Papa/Mama/ menu or the "50's" kitsch, yet it's billed as "All American Food" (that's literally their tagline). The burgers are baaad, man.

Indonesian Heirarchy of Burger Chains:
1) Fatburger
2) Burger King (the only burger joint that improves it's quality the further away from North America you get, it seems)
3) McDonalds
4) Realizing the other options are going to be bad, therefore choosing a meal that is not burger-based, and daydreaming about what a good burger tastes like while choking back your bland Nasi Goreng.
5) Wendy's
6) Just taking a bite out of a random cow you happen to come across in your daily travels
7) A&W
