fwiw, TGOR asked Pierre McGuire about a conditioning stint for Methot. His take was essentially that it does happen but a vet and pro like Methot is doubtful to need/agree to it to get back up to speed.

Who knows, though. Personally I don't see it happening, regardless of the benefit.

Nope, they are only really necessary if you are coming back from super long term injury, and the injury is somewhat related to a reflex you need to play the game.
