With this Oilers team and our defense, it basically comes down to whether McD and Drai bring their A game. If they do we have next to no chance. If they don't we have a really good chance to win.

In a divisional rubber game match, odds usually favour the team who lost the first match. Then again, Oilers are in a fight for their playoffs. Let's see what happens.

Yea the forward lines I don't have much to complain about.

on Wolanin:

Yeah, I'm not saying Wolanin is necessarily better than the other options, but he needs to get some reps if he is going to prove himself. I guess we could scratch Anisimov and go with 7 D, bring back memories of Boucher...

Some interesting changes there.

I don't like Paul on the 4th line but maybe he can drag Anisimov and Watson into some good grinding hockey.
I don’t like it either but DJ uses Paul like a Swiss Army knife. He’s going to get top PK minutes and will get thrown out there on other lines a lot.

Like Dzingle and Tierney together. Gives me Kelly/vermette vibes

Where would you slot him?

Wish they’d keep Bath with Stützle.

I’d even try Tkachuk - Jimmy - Bath for fun.

I like these lines in theory. Didn't Stu finish last game with White and Dadonov, and look good doing it?
