I don't think it's crazy that they didn't qualify him. He isn't that good. If there is going to be a glut of decent players available in UFA and teams looking to move money? Ottawa are in a position to be choosy.

I don't this reflects poorly on Ottawa at all. There are going to be a lot of decent players getting squeezed. Duclair clearly thinks he's worth more than the Sens management can/will pay him. Good luck with that.
