Get Wolanin in for Rielly when he’s ready and I won’t even mind our defence anymore.
Chabot-Zaitsev
Brannstrom-Zub
Wolanin-Gudbransson

it’s by no means good but that’s multiple dmen that can actually move the puck. Brannstrom was a huge difference maker last night even though he played relatively quietly. Zub has been a great surprise as well.

This whole thing has been a cleverly calculated scheme for us to value Zaitsev, Zub and Brannstrom much more highly.

Paul had a really good game, good to see him come to Chabot's defence. Zub looks to be a complete defenceman, not flashy but very solid at both ends of the ice & Ottawa finally got some decent goaltending. At what point do they let L. Brown & Formenton get their shot next? The sooner they get rid of all of their UFAs, the better.

Amazing how different the team looked yesterday. Big part was Murray making the stops he needs to make. Defence felt more mobile and comfortable with Brannstrom in the lineup, love that he factored in the scoresheet as well.

CF% and CF Rel% for Brady and Daddy last night were not very good; Tkachuk's numbers are usually better

Scoring chances for and against and sf% for these 2 also not very good
3633.33

[TBODY] [/TBODY]
Both had 80% offensive zone shift starts and 71.4 Off zone faceoff % = Percentage of faceoffs in the offensive zone for which the player was on the ice

If it's our 2nd it's like a late 1st.
Its the blue jackets pick originating from the Dzingel trade

so basically traded Dzingel for Duclair and a 2nd
Montreal turned Galchenyuk into Domi into Josh Anderson
Dorion turned Dzingel into Duclair and a 2nd into Stepan; Moving Stepan likely to be a negative return
