Definitely something rotten in the Nucks org. Thought they were meant to be a playoff team this year but they are stinking it up in a major way over in BC. They could be viable trading partners for us. JT Miller anyone?

Didn't they mention in the broadcast today that the Sens have up to 15 regulars out now with injury or Covid protocal? Has that ever happened to a team before to be missing 15 of 20/23 regulars?

Nikita Zadarov is known to be a beast of a hitter, not exactly famed for his skating and he was weaving in and out of our zone with the puck because our team is so easy to play against. Loads of players will have career games against us. Injuries be damned, there are certain systems that the coach can at least implement smh.

The result really sucks, but you have to expect it. They didn't even get 24 hours in between games on this one. Shame on the NHL for even allowing this weekend schedule to go forward.

The one thing I do like, are the AHL kids getting some real reps in the NHL and seeing first hand what they have to do to make it in this league. This stretch might be the one thing that gives a few kids that extra motivation and oomph to make it to the next level at either the trade deadline or next season. It's a very rare opportunity for these guys.
