Does this link into that larger "trade" scenario discussed elsewhere. I don't get it at all. Someone must have tape on someone...

After much thought,

I still don't understand.

Probably a call-up coming up soon.

Oh ****, we are officially loading up for a deep playoff run. Good to see Melnyk open up his coin purse.

It's a sign and trade... For Hall. Mills, Greening,Smith,Hammond 2nd for Hall

They get goaltending, a big centre and winger. Rememer who said it first.

I heard Murray was looking for replacement, here I am!

Scouting report: he's getting a bit old, but lefties can have a long career. One worry is that he's a bit homer-prone with his flyball tendencies.

Bingo needs players too. I believe he is only signed until the end of the year.

Couldn't he just sign a contract with Bingo? I just dont understand why he needs an NHL contract when he's so far from being NHL calibre.

Wait he's on an NHL contract? Does that mean he's likely to play in Ottawa this year?

Possible cap shenanigans? If he has an NHL salary it's possible he can be called up, play a game and have his salary count towards the floor. Allows the team to maybe move out someone in a trade sooner rather than later.
