Why do you play the first line and getting hurt like happened? Game was closed and the victory was home. Why not play the bench and rest players and dont create this risk.

Could that single situation cost Canada the gold?

well we did miss Kakko kotkaniemi Lundell Kupari nordgren and played only 11 forwards (our coach being dump)...
Teams don't have players at the WJC due to other obligations or injuries. This goes for many teams and not just Finland. So not sure what the point of a post like this is.

Kommentti: Suomalaisen katsojan painokelvottomat sanat Ostravassa tiivistivät kaiken – Nuoret Leijonat ei ansainnut tippaakaan enempää YLE analysis.

The Best and most objective part.

VMP!

Those are top players from Finland, and out depth is really thin.. Otteeseen, you're right

Not mad at all. Completely deserved win for Canada. The score looks a bit uglier than the game did IMO but that's how it goes sometimes.

The refs were bad but at least they missed calls both ways.

You realize for Canada, we have like 10 players who are eligible but not there, right?

Of note, I can think of... Kirby Dach, Noah Dobson, Evan Bouchard, Nick Suzuki, Maxime Comtois, Cody Glass, Robert Thomas... All of which would be Canada's best player at this tournament. There are likely more less notable candidates.

monumental fail, dude. all of the bolded players aged out of the last tournament last year in Vancouver.

We are without 2 players who are in the NHL. Dach and Dobson. That's it. All teams in in the same boat, missing a couple to 4 key players.

Same as Finns with Kotkaniemi and Kakko.
