Just a complete disgrace by the Boston Bruins front office yet again. The long history of giving up on elite players at a young age continues. They will rightfully become the laughing stock of the city yet again with a move like this. Bad, bad move by Chiarelli that immediately makes the team worse.

You don't know what other pieces are coming back.

And Seguin is so freaking far from elite.

Eriksson's more of a solid Bruins type player than Seguin is right now, but Seguin does have that upside.

The team really has soured on Seguin big time. Louie is a legitimate player. Dallas is banking on Seguin breaking out or no way would they make this deal.

Yeah it would be a shame if Chiarelli traded for a 70 point scorer who is still in the middle of his prime.

We haven't had someone who hit 70 points in five years, since Savard.

He was a 29 goal scorer at 20 years old in the NHL. To just give up on that like this? Completely inexcusable no matter the return. I don't see any way to defend the Bruins front office at this point.

If anything it immediately makes the team better haha. Have you seen his career point totals? Dude is everything Seguin could be if Seguin actually hit his potential

That was on the PK. Eriksson would be an incredible addition

Cheer for somebody else then. Eriksson is LEGIT, has a sweet contract, and you don't know what else might be involved.

You also don't know if it's even going to happen. You don't like what the Bruins do the Arizona Coyotes could use some more fans...

An Evander Kane kind of deal with similar age, potential and talent at a position of need? YES.

A 29-yo LW (albeit a talented one)? Uggh. I'd love the guy on the team, but not at the price of Seguin.

There better be something else coming back that makes this worth it...

Better be a 1st rounder or solid prospect coming back. Erik shoots left just like Lucic & Marchand. Not a real right winger. Maybe we're trading Marchand as well:amazed:?

There's got to be some serious concerns with him that we can't see. Meaning, his play hasn't warranted simply giving up on him yet. Character issues or injury issues or whatever.

As @DarrenDreger first broke, Bruins/Stars have monster trade involving Seguin, Eriksson & more. Told players are being notified now.

In Bruinland, what does "close to completing a trade" even mean? I've been slowrolled too many times to get excited about this. I'll try to stay posi though.
