There are also several invitees from other teams that are obviously on the club's radar.

Last year I looked closely at the ice time of Moritz Seider in the DEL.

That made me curious, about the kind of ice time young players would get in the DEL this season.
So I decided to make a list of the average ice time for U21-players (born in 1998 or later) in the DEL.

I'll try to update this after every game day or at least after every weekend.

1) Because Eisbären Berlin played the Blackhawks on Sunday, their DEL game vs. Schwenningen is scheduled for March 3rd. So the numbers for this gameday will change after it has been played.

2) For some reason there was a problem with the ice time stats for one game (Mannheim vs. Augsburg). For this game they only have the ice time through 2 periods on the league's website. This affects the stats for Tim Stützle, Marco Sternheimer and Valentino Klos

Maximilian Glötzl is missing. He was in the team at the start of the Kölner Haie. Due to the bad performance of the team, however, he did not get time on ice.

I believe there may also have been a couple of others who were dressed for their teams, but ended up not playing. For now I'll only list the players that actually get to play. Hopefully that will happen for Glötzl at some point, because I am pretty sure he is already good enough to play at that level.

Most likely I will not actually get around to watching all of those, but I'll try to catch as many as possible.

3) The game between Kölner Haie and Nürnberg Ice Tigers on gameday #25 was cancelled, early in the 1st period, after a serious medical emergency in the stands. It has been re-scheduled for January 28th.

He definitely needed a short adjustment period to his new team and league, but you could see right away that he is a really good player.
And when the team was missing several key forwards recently like Eisenschmid and Stützle he was one of the guys that really stepped up his game.
I especially like him on the power play. When he has a little more room and time he is just deadly.

He is currently top goal scorer of DEL with 17 goals. Hopefully Mannheim will go and defend the title, although it will suck from our NT point of view.

I don't really see what would Rendulic do in NA again. His skating is bad-ish and the two-way game is meh so how many points he has scored is beside the point. Sure he has great offensive skills but that's all the more reason to stay in Europe. He is just not what NHL hockey in 2020 needs while at his own level (DEL seems like a perfect fit for him) he can be a real star. At the level above that he is too much of a one-trick pony.

I have hearsay. Somebody who claims to be well informed about deliberations in the front office of Adler Mannheim, says that the club wants to extend with Rendulic and that Rendulic has not made up his mind yet if he wants to stay or not.
As for the source of this information, he has been more right than wrong in the past and I hope he will let me know if he hears anything new.

I have hearsay. Somebody who claims to be well informed about deliberations in the front office of Adler Mannheim, says that the club wants to extend with Rendulic and that Rendulic has not made up his mind yet if he wants to stay or not.
As for the source of this information, he has been more right than wrong in the past and I hope he will let me know if he hears anything new.
