I'm not too worried about Couturier asking to leave. Berube getting fired must have made him pretty happy. I won't be surprised if Hextall signs him to an extension this summer.

If Hextall offers him a four or five year extension year deal at around $4 million that would be a lot of guaranteed money for a 22 year old to turn down. There's also the fact that Hextall went out of his way to praise Couturier at that press conference.
