I do read the full writeups for various xG models and other metrics. I understand many of the problems with NHL data collection and what you’re saying about Rebounds because I know they’re just a simple time-based approximation with multiple steps for noise seepage. I also frequently criticize both awards voting and the misapplication of various metrics.

But I genuinely feel badly that you wrote all of this for no reason. I’m not going to have this discussion. I promise you that you have something better to do than whatever it is you’re doing in this thread. No jokes or name calling. Please don’t waste your effort on me.

@Trap Jesus , did you just win your argument? I mean to me at least it looks like this is someone being brought to their knees by the ample amount of empirical evidence you have provided. Trap Jesus do you have any apostles yet? Where could I sign up?
