This will be the first season he finishes the year with more points than Giroux. I think Giroux's days as our top scorer are officially over. This is Couturier's team now
Where have you been? It's been that way for a while.
Well said!It was still G‘S team , but Couts is the most important Flyer we have.
Coots’ odds of Selke? Would love him to get it. Any word on when awards will be done now that the season is done?
I knew he was sitting on top (seems like a lifetime ago). I haven’t been following hockey super closely, so I wasn’t sure if the narrative changed. I hope they do awards before the playoffs. It’d be a fun summer distraction.I think he is the favourite.
PHWA voted mid-season and results then were:
Couturier
O'Reilly
Bergeron
Couldn’t agree more. And Striiker, the voters may suck, but if it helps our guys make the Hall of Fame, I’m all for it.He should already have a Selke.
Oh yeah, no doubt.Couldn’t agree more. And Striiker, the voters may suck, but if it helps our guys make the Hall of Fame, I’m all for it.
Side topic: Lindros doesn’t get in without his Hart.
Is that the all time most or just a direct comparison with Bergeron?

Toews had 7 by that age. I believe that is the most.

Glad you did the digging for that. He was the one I thought of... oh how I hated him.Michael Peca had 5 top 5 finishes by 27. Very impressive. Underrated player.
