Wennberg was extremely OK for FLA last season. His problem is that he isn't quite good enough at anything to be a mainstay 2C. OK skater, OK passer, OK shot (which he never uses). He isn't very good on the PP or on the PK. He isn't physical and disappears when games are rough/tough. His lack of physicality and now a 4.5M pricetag means he can't really be a 3C.

Just feels like he's a great stopgap player, but not the guy you want to settle on.
