To be fair with Heiskanen not returning Dallas was down to 5 D men, so reducing minutes wasn't an option.

Correct. And as bad as Suter is, he isn't the problem on defense right now. Miller is the worst dman on the team and Hakanpaa is right there with him. Both guys are a black hole anytime the puck is on their stick.
