This. It really sucks when you go to a game and the Flames don't show up. So frustrating having to witness the general revelry of the Canucks fans and not get any moments to enjoy yourself.

For the most part, though, I've had a pretty good track record when I go to games.Hope to keep that going tonight.

You know what, I'm not kidding this team needs something like a bench brawl. That event really brought our team together last year. While I don't think there is friction between teammates, something like that can really get everyone to really together. They need something to spark them.

I really have liked what Bouma's been doing the last couple of games. Fights two games ago, then has that shift where he runs around stirring **** up last night. And it did give us energy in both cases... we just can't get a puck to go into a net right now.

I dunno... during that slump we weren't generating anything at all in the offensive zone for the most part. I feel like we're always playing as well as if not better than the opposition lately, but we just don't have the finish.

The only flaw with Gaudreau's game I find is his shot. He just doesn't that high powered velocity behind his shot that the other top offensive players have, that isn't to say it won't improve with time though. If he could address that area of his game, I think Gaudreau would be one of the elite finishers in the NHL. My point being, I think with guys like Poirier, Johnny, Monahan and Bennett, we are going to be one of the better finishing teams in the NHL sooner than later.

Maybe Im the only one, but I feel like Gaudreau and Hudler should be split up. Not cause they don't play well together, but because the no other line has that type of creativity. Id like to see:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Colborne
Hudler-Jooris-Jones
Glencross-Granlund-Raymond

I'd rather see Gaudreau with Jooris. Have they played together much or at all lately? I haven't been able to catch a full game since November since I'm up north in the boonies with my family for holidays.

JJ is one of the hardest workers on the Flames whose also gifted enough to produce offense. They could be a potent combo.
