The good thing for the Sting about the Simpson deal is the high return. If Gaudreau plays well, it looks like they could get a good return for him. When talking about teams that he could go to I think we have to wait until we're a few weeks into the regular season. There's always surprise contenders that end up adding

The price point for top tier overage goaltenders was set today in the Michael Simpson trade. There was a player for player element in the trade today in my opinion for two reasons. First London has limited draft picks and Peterborough likely wanted a goalie to replace Simpson. It you look at Zack Bowen’s worth in draft picks. London likely would have gotten a 2nd and maybe a 4th for him if he was traded for draft picks only. So Simpson’s worth in draft picks is at minimum a 2nd and 3rd and on the higher end a 2nd, 3rd and a 4th. So the precedent is either a player (likely a goaltender) and a 3rd or a 4th or if for draft picks only a 2nd and a 3rd and maybe a 4th.

Just had a good laugh . I was looking at lists of players being sent back to there junior teams. And they had Matyas Sapovaliv coming back to Sarnia not Saginaw. Maybe they know something we don't LOL.

Bold is correct lol. That would mean Sarnia finishing around 6th in the conference with a record like that.

25-33-5-5 is my prediction.
