I saw a thread for Zach Hyman and congratulations to him on hitting 50!

Sam Reinhart has also scored 50 as I do believe the 100th player to ever do it.

This man since joining the Panthers has become a 30 goal scorer. He did score 25 in a 54 in his last Sabres season good for a 38 goal pace but finally achieved scoring back to back 30+ goal seasons right after.

Now he has hit 50 goals with 11 games left
Let's give him some props.

Such an interesting career. If you told be back when he was 16/17 he would score 50 I would have believed it. When he was 23 I would have called it crazy.

From highly hyped potential #1 pick to relative disappointment, to finally becoming a bonafide star

Yup. Great "redemption arc" (not that he really needed redeeming, but you get the point) love to see it.

It's nice to see more 50 goal seasons again. There has only been 39 since 2000/01 for 1.56 per season. There's an outside chance at 6 this year (5 last year.)

Wonder if when he becomes a UFA Botts tells Ron Francis to call up his agent to offer him a 2 year "prove it" deal?

God Botts was such a clueless moron.

It's too bad the Sabres develop players to ship them out they would look pretty good right now with Eichel, Reinhart , Middlestadt don the middle Reinhart has arrived congrats

It's pretty hard to become a star in Buffalo.

I’ve said this about a lot of players, but I still don’t understand why Buffalo didn’t want to keep him

It’s amazing what happens when you’re in a contract year.

Seems like a lot of good players want out of Buffalo as soon as they can. I don't blame them, has to suck playing for an organization that lacks any winning mentality.

ROR is having a great year too.

Eichel-Reinhart-Middlestadt-ROR down the middle would be crazy lol.

(Granted I haven't worked out if any picks for Middlestadt were aquired in the Eichel/ROR trades or anything, idk the timelines there).

I would say there's a pretty decent chance that either Reinhart or Middlestadt wins the cup this year which would be kind of funny, 3 centers winning cups after leaving Buffalo since 2019.
