Hey... kudos Tampa. I think Vasi is the guy. Bish has 1 year left, though. so he could be in/out quickly.

If true the market is drying up very quickly

If the #Lightning are going to make a bold move at the draft coming away w/ Toronto's #1 pick would soften the blow of losing Steven Stamkos

Your mileage may very...

Either that or Calgary are trying to just pull MAFs price down.

I would be excited to see what we can get for MAF but I have no issues with holding on to him as insurance in the event that MM struggles in his first full year in the NHL.

I am happy either way, maybe even a swap for Lehtonen (with salary retained) plus sending Kunitz there as well and get some picks/prospects back. This will give MM a god backup and shift cap space and stock up on picks/prospects....Lehtonen then will be UFA after next year.

If Calgary gets Bishop we are royally screwed....
JR better just get MAF moved for anything tbh.

How easy will MAF be to deal at the deadline? Not that easy would be my guess. Best time is now. His value are gonna keep droping the longer we wait. Teams will know we are more and more desperate.

Dont wanna go into the season with a goalie drama on our hands either. ....

News anchor from Fox said it. It's done. The guy is fair and balanced. Let's move along to Buffalo. Trade MAF for Dan Bylsma and make him coach in Wheeling as punishment.

Yeah there aren't any other teams out there.

38, 53, Foligno. I'd consider it...

There are worse things than holding onto Fleury into 16-17. My preference is to move him this offseason, but I don't see any need to offload him for next to nothing if that's the only option.

How has anything changed?

Did anyone really believe that Calgary wouldn't have inquired on Bishop and that TB wouldn't be willing to listen?

Ugh, this better not go down today. I have to go on a two day Euros/Kiel Week bender starting in half an hour. What ever happened to doing business at the draft when I can expect and plan for it?

I feel like the reasons the Penguins feel... Pressure to move Fleury now have been covered ad nauseam here and elsewhere at this point. i doubt there's any new way to couch it for people

I am dreading MAF being traded because he's my favorite player (I'm a realist but I'm still allowed to be sad) but watching people react to the rumor that JR asked for 6OA are priceless moments.

45 seconds ago we were getting 6OA and now they're getting Bishop! I can't believe JR blew it! But every rumour should be taken at face value, so I know he did!
