Dreger is fine. He has legit connections and has broken information before.

He does a lot of speculating and guessing - which he always labels as such. When it is a legit rumor he also clarifies that. The issue is everyone posts his "thoughts" as rumors and everyone gets mad.

This is not a rumor it's what he thinks could happen.

He had an insider when Nonis was GM in Toronto but has been throwing around non stop non sense ever since the Leafs fires him.

What is this nonsense.

If you cut Dzingel's shooting percentage in half from the 18% it's currently at, he'd still be on pace for almost 50P. Would make him a 40+ point guy for two straight seasons.

In what bizarro world is that a depth player?

Last season he had 41 points at 16.9 SH%.
This year he is shooting at 18% and on pace for about 60ish points.

He has low 2nd line offensive value but that is a crazy high SH% and for a guy who's point totals come half from goals that is a red flag. He is also brutal defensively.

He is a good depth middle 6 player, so by depth I mean ideally on the 3rd line but could play 2nd. Not a core guy for a team but could be useful.

If you're a team that is sound defensively and could use some scoring punch, and are okay hoping he stays hot then you could move a second for him or resign him for a 4mx3-4 year deal and it'd be fine.

He isn't a 5m dollar guy or worth more than a 2nd and a mid prospect as a rental though.

What would even make sense in a Panarin to Colorado trade? Kerfoot++?

Avs aren't moving out big pieces this year so their likely isn't one, especially considering they're a bubble team at best this year and he isn't resigning there. Its not really a good fit.
