The import draft was today and Saginaw selected 18th and with that pick we took big Finnish defenseman Markus Niemelainen.

Going forward a blue line of

Dito-Middleton
Petschenig-Stewart
Proner-Niemelainen
Ex: Crawford/Holmes

That's a big big mean defense. This surely has to mean Henley is done here an will be moved/cut.

I should probably edit my projection as looking back this team seems to like to keep 8 D so Holmes/Crawford would very likely be those 7/8 guys.

Spirit Fans: You may recall one of your recent acquisitions, Will Petschenig, suffered a serious injury in the conference finals. He has now been cleared to play lacrosse and if his first game is any indication he is fully recovered. You're going to be really happy with this guy.

Is he playing Jr B lacrosse for Clarington? They are in playoffs?

Yes, the Clarington Green Gaels are in the second round of the playoffs. Will did not play in the first round but returned for game one of the second round where he had 2 goals + assist. Game two coming up.

The new GM looks like a great guy, looking forward to seeing what he can do. He also took the same university program I plan on taking in a couple years

U18 camp wrapped up and the roster for the Ivan Hlinka tourney was named. Tye Felhaber scored 2 goals and is left off the team. Middleton was also left off too but the defense was going to be harder to make.
