They thought that because they have done that. Jacksonville is now the new ECHL affiliate for the Sabres

Maybe the poster was implying the reasoning behind it as in "why did they do it" rather tan questioning that they were moved?

Puckpedia has it as a 2-way NHL contract (post #4). I don't know how accurate they are since they didn't spell his name correctly.

On Maintenance Day, Joe & Lance said it was an AHL/ECHL deal and that they might be waiting for the Jacksonville announcement to make it official.
