Fans on the Texas Stars facebook page not happy about this trade. Seems like he was a bit of a fan favorite because of his effort level.

2017 was such a good-looking Sabres draft class circa May, 2018.

Mittelstadt was at peak hype.
Davidsson hadn't busted yet.
UPL was heading to the OHL and looked good.
Laaksonen was a surprise WJC performer.
Bryson was a notable D at Providence.
Weissbach was near ppg at Wisconsin.

It could be a clean sweep of no NHL impact, sans Mittelstadt, who's following the Tyson Jost trajectory (he'll get traded, then eventually waived).

You should see some actual clean sweeps of no NHL impact. There are three of those players playing in the NHL right now. Which is probably very very average for a draft class

This is simply Adams moving out a D prospect he never really liked and has not taken steps forward for a local kid who he might know from his time with the Jr Sabres.

I haven't noticed Cecconi (good or bad) nearly as much as I always noticed Laak (good on PP, horrible all other times)
