Sunday morning I was in the grocery store with the wife shopping to make cheesesteaks for the Skins game. So im in the cheese section deciding on some provolone. See in my peripherary my lady come up next to me with the cart.
'So whadda ya think hun, thin slice and get 24 slices or regular and get 14 slices? maybe the regualr slice wont melt enough .... are we toasting in the oven toaster? ... Honey?"
She says nothing.
I look over.
Its another blonde lady, complete stranger.
She was in Caps gear.
I was in my Caps t shirt.
I laughed and said something.
She laughed nervoulsy and said "I was wondering who you were talking to .... I just want the cheese"

Anyway ... thats the moment I knew hockey season was close.
