Bowman is an idiot. He basically relied heavily on DTs core and his scouts, as a GM, he's mostly gotten lucky finding takers for his high priced ****.

Honestly, sign me up for Alex Semin at 3m/1yr which is what he'd likely play for and will blow up beside Geno.

CBJ is going to sign Saad. To think that he's gonna get plucked after the trade is just dumb.

I sort of understand not wanting do deal Saad to Pittsburgh, but both teams are in the opposite conference, so really it's not that big of a deal. Why not take the better deal?

Then how will we be able to get Phil??????

Well...lots of reports coming out saying the Pens needed them to keep $2mil of his salary...

To me though, you make a guy like Saad work. You find a way to make the numbers work. If it means giving away Nick F-in Spaling for a 7th...you make it work.

Jesus, AA is a lame duck just like Sutter. I'd rather have AA for us, but if I was the Hawks and the name of the game was "get up the ice as quick as possible," I'm taking Sutter.
