Did Ray have a stroke or something? The guy couldn't talk.

Can Leino just be enshrined in the ugly category for the rest of the year? Dude is like a bad dream that ever ends.

G:
-Myers is just awesome offensively
-Foligno played the game like he needs to every night
-Stewart did well
-Enroth continues a nice run of games

B:
-Usual suspects: Leino, Sulzer, Weber (had some decent defensive plays but made bad decision after bad decision with the puck)

U:
-Tank needs to stay strong down the home stretch

I think Leino's number should be retired......so we never have to see 23 again and have thoughts of that completely useless player.

G:

Enroth was lights out, late goal notwithstanding.
Myers was everywhere.
Foligno/Hodgson/Stewart line looked good.

B:

No shutout.

U:

Injuries to Girgs and Stewart.

Just got done watching this after work. I basically I agree with all of this as the major GBUs.

Some minor ones:

G: Weber and Tallinder. All the D-Combos did well enough. Sulzer and McBain being the weakest of the group. The PK
RJ was great. He made the game exciting.

B: The PP.

U: Leino almost got a goal but was pretty bad the rest of the game.

G:
Enroth! Made me forget we don't have Miller anymore.
Myers was a beast, again.
Stewart looked commited
Foligno with his best game in a long time.
Stafford. Solid work.
Ennis makes things happen. Sometimes for the opposition too, but I'll take it. He looks confident.

B:
No shutout. Looked like the entire team relaxed when rewarded that PP at the end. Really sloppy play on that goal. Enroth deserved better.

U:
Injuries.
Leino not getting rewarded with the Caruba Collision for his hit on Ennis.

Actually, when I watch Brynäs in SHL I often get angry when I see #23 out there, until I realize that's not Leino but Bill Sweatt, and he's actually quite good. :)

That line was a lot of fun to watch, it's a shame Stewart got injured...

Hopefully Nolan can get Stewart to play his guts out.

Enroth might not be the long-term solution, but boy is he fun to watch in the meanwhile.

G:
Myers, Hodgson, Foligno each with 1G, 1A - Great to see
Stafford, Ennis, Stewart

another win!!! So who are the Sabres drafting at #4?

g-Enroth
-Myers
-the Hodgson, Foligno, Stewart line. Great hustle on the Hodgson goal
-Sulzer was pretty good, liked to see him standing up for Enroth

b-Stewie & Zengus getting hurt

Tampa looked confused, getting Stamkos back and adding Cally at the cost of MSL really hurt the chemistry this game. Sabres fortunate to catch them unprepared.

I think Leino's number should be retired......so we never have to see 23 again and have thoughts of that completely useless player.

Ya' know, I'm starting to believe that each player's number on a team has an allotment of "great play" assigned to it. Most of the run of a given number on any team sees a variety of good and bad play---all coming from the overall slotted "great play" allowed.

Example: Gretzky was so incredible, there was nothing left for anybody else under "99", on ANY team. Truly the GREAT one.

On the Sabre's for example, Chris Drury simply zapped all the great play from the number "23" disproportionately to the rest of that number's run.

Either Leino needs to be traded, or at the very least, have his number switched to "76" (sorry Peters) :)
