Wait why does/did Lapierre have to stand up for himself there? He did nothing wrong there at all other than get mugged in the corner. I'm all for players being held responsible for their actions but Lapi obviously didn't think it was worth a fight but RR did and beat the snot out of Gryba

Earlier in the game Lapierre was doing a bit of stick work, including cross-checking Smith in the back after the refs broke up his 'fight' with Jackman. That's why Gryba was roughing Lapierre up in the corner, it was in response to his earlier activities.

So Reaves, an enforcer and top notch fighter, beats up Gryba. Who is surprised by that and why is any one proud of it?

Agree with other poster, the dude showing courage is Gryba. Reaves, who himself has lost to more skilled fighters, appeared to be spot picking.

Meh, honestly, as a Sens fan I think Reaves was doing his job. He was protecting his teammate. He earned his paycheque. There's no glory in protecting rats though so hopefully Lapierre bought him a steak.
