It's too bad, Chiarelli was doing everything right from a small POV but then the big moves are just horrid.

It only really makes sense if we're doing something with that extra cap space in the short term IMO.

Lucic mcdavid pul (hopefully lucic signs but jp is an unknown)
Pouliot rnh drai (drai is still a wildcard but this could be okay for a second line)
Maroon someone yak (no idea who to center this line, or if yak stays)

Khaira/lander/Kassian
I mean, mcdavid is obviously great, but there's a lot of question marks, and only 1 line with what I'd call a driver. The other lines are going to have to really step

Moving Ebs and Hall out would probably have this effect on Yak. I generally concur with your feelings on this subject.
