Seems like an easy 1 gamer. Blind side, came from a distance, plenty of head contact.
To me 1 game is generous. I thought 2 minimum.

You HAVE to hold up on hits like those. And he didnt.

But again the NHL will probably screw this up. Just like the officials did with the on ice call IMO.

Should have held Bjork out for the 3rd to cause a suspension because in NHL land 1+1 has to equal 2

They have so much filler on this roster and not enough finish, that's for sure. Hard to watch as a collective when the top line isn't producing too. Need to fix this ASAP before the real games start.
I'd like to see them try a middle 6 of Ritchie-Krejci-Kase, Debrusk-Coyle-Studnicka/Bjork. I don't know how long they can wait for Bjork to find the back of the net. I don't hate him but I'm with you, try Studnicka and Senyshyn to see what they can do.

This is it exactly. They dole out suspensions based on results of the play. In this case, Bjork didn't miss a beat, so no harm no foul. Cassidy should have played the game inside the game a little more cunningly.

I get the concept of Kase and Ritchie and if that would work it would be ideal. Hard for me to have much faith in it working though, given Kase being a walking injury. Last I heard they were expecting him to play next game, is that still correct?

Ennis came back to play the other nite. It doesnt matter. They still suspended the player on Chicago.
The hit yesterday was worse. Im surprised Bjork isnt concussed.

That's what I heard too. He had some flashes after they traded for him. Either way he's a better option for 2nd line RW than anyone else they have. We just need some luck with health, hopefully he keeps his head up lol

You can clearly see Goodrow slightly shift his weight as well to ensure he exploded through the hit. Inexcusable. It really is shocking Bjork is truly uninjured.

That's basically what they were rolling for the last 6-7 games before the break. The Rictchie-Krejci-Kase line was pretty bad:

Ritchie is a dog and will bring down whatever line he's on. Look, we've done this dumb lumbering forward experiment multiple times. Ritchie 2x, Backes, Beleskey - it doesn't work. I'm happy to continue to test out Ritchie, it's obviously still early, but he has to be on the 3rd or 4th--and he's got to prove himself soon.

Top six should be as follows:

March - Bergy - Pasta
Debrusk - Krejci - Kase

The best we've seen the Krejci line since Lucic and Horton were his wingers was when Spooner was on the wing. They were absolutely lighting it up. IMO having a speedy winger is the solution and I think Sweeney would tend to agree, which is why we acquired Kase.

Until our small skill lines get shut down by the larger defenses such as Tampa and Washington because they can't get a cycle game functioning.

Lucic did just fine for quite a few seasons.

Comparing Beleskey and Backes to Ritchie is a lazy bias against power forwards. Each have different variables - Beleskey was never going to be that player. Backes was no longer that player when we signed him. Ritchie is still yet to reach his prime. In the right setting a power forward absolutely has a role in the top six. If Krejci and Debrusk could function together, Ritchie would be an ideal fit. If Krejci and Kase function together, Ritchie could be an ideal fit, etc.

Tom Wilson was hardly a 4th liner for the first half of his career.

A thousand miles from nowhere
I’d consider moving Krejci down a line at this point.

Let Coyle play with Debrusk and whoever looks the most awake that day at RW and pray they can generate something resembling an offence. Ideally Pastrnak but it seems like Boston is going to roll the dice on being a 1 line team again.

I'm not sure I would, but if I did - before I moved him down I would move him up with Marchand and Pasta if the 1st line keeps struggling.
Give him another chance to show something and maybe disrupt the opposition's game plan. If it works then great, the Bruins might have 2 top lines going. If it doesn't, put the 1st line back together and then drop him to 3C if you want. Of course this would all depend on the performance of the 1st line, Coyle and Krejci next game.
