I saw him pretty often early in his Everett career while watching Carter Hart. He's a jack of all trades player. I've described him before as a really, really poor man's Provorov, but right-handed. He was easily worth a contract imo. I even picked him in our forums mock draft before the actual NHL draft.

Once Hart left Everett, I didn't watch Wylie very much. I did write about liking his play in the rookie game this year. I thought he was sneakily one of the major standouts. I had him ranked 18th in the prospect rankings I released during the summer.

I really hope he at least pans out well enough in some pro league (AHL or NHL). Maybe he could be a Hagg replacement, but in all seriousness, that should of already been Friedman.

Hagg is a UFA in two years. I doubt he is in Philly after that so he Wylie probably doesn’t do anything in that sense.
