Marek says Kings, Ducks, Blues are in on Chych. Up to 10 teams have called. AZ wants a top prospect+young roster player+first for him. Also says Boston in on Crouse.

Friedman says there are multiple teams that will be in on Kane if he hits FA.
Would rather see what Pavelski/Klingberg costs before pulling the trigger on that deal. There is a chance you can get Pavelski/Klingberg/Reilly Smith for less than that package above. Yes all would be rentals, but strongly believe you add a middle 6 Center and Winger plus a top-4 level D that this team would be a serious threat in the playoffs.

Watch the disgruntled Little League Hero - dreaming of 1994 - go “all in” (a.k.a. A ridiculously intoxicated @BBKers at 07:00) and do something wild like this:
  • Signs problem child Evander Kane for this year for cheap (prorated) - rooms w/Sheriff Reaves
  • Georgiev For Markanen + Arizona 2nd
  • Hajek, Henriksson, Edström For V. Namestnikov and a 4th
  • Gauthier + 3rd in 2023 (or Reuanen) For P Kessel
  • Arizona 2nd For Colin Miller or N Leddy
Playoff roster
Poolboy - Soy - Hot Dog Man
Bread - Ström - Jackpothead
LAF - Two-timer Namestnikov/Chytil - K2
Goodrow - Rooney - Hunt/Reaves

Bleeding Man - Fox Norris
Pokecheck - Ferocious
Handgrenade Nemeth - C Miller or N Leddy
Tinordi the sharpshooter cone + kids galore

Shesty
Solemn Finnish Big Man

With the cancellations, break and now late games I haven't been as dialed in. How are Jones and Nils looking? Should we upgrade them or let them develop?

Way too early to make a call like that and The NHL is a results league, not a development league. With Covid and the Rangers poor options at 6/7, they'll get their games in and defensemen take longer to progress towards their ceiling. Be patient.

Evander Kane? Come on. That's like trying to put out a fire with gasoline. By all measures the locker room isn't the problem and would likely become one with an add like that. Hard pass. Drury has a ton of options if he wants to take a shot at the TDL. Kane isn't one of them.

Kane was finally put on waivers when he was violating covid protocol again, i doubt he's changing his ways in that regard so what good is he, he's either gonna help spread it through the team or not be able to play in certain places.

Did DeAngelo destroy the Canes locker room? It’s the same thing. Sure their issues are different but all along we’re told oh he’s took outspoken he can’t let the politics by and it was getting to the other players. In fact it’s worse as his issues involved other players and being loud in the room whereas Kane’s are mostly personal. If Kane can destroy a teams room then their room wasn’t any good to begin with. Not to mention he will likely sign a near minimum contract for a year so if he truly was becoming a problem you could just get rid of him with ease. I’m also almost certain the Sharks AHLers said he was great to have around (of course maybe these guys didn’t want to say anything bad to the media but they also didn’t have to give praise).
