And then he fled the scene on foot?? ******-tastic.

I'm pretty sure taking out a Tim Horton's is a maximum sentence crime in Canada.

Just to be clear, you don't "collide with" a Timmy Ho's, you crash into it.

At least he fled the scene and ditched his car before being arrested.

What is it with people driving into restaurants?

But that's beside the point of course, my reaction is the same as yours

I don't know what the laws are like in Canada, but in most states in the United States, it is a misdemeanor hit and run when it only involves property damage. So the punishment is usually just a large fine and possible jail time of up to a year.

Don't know what the law is like in Canada though, but i would think they would be similar.

ROR will probably just have to pay a fine and do community service. Still did a stupid thing nonetheless.

Not a smart move.... but not a big deal either.

Getting pulled over for blowing a .08 by a drink or two is "not a big deal."

Crashing into a building and then abandoning the car to flee on foot is actually a pretty big deal.

Way to show the young guys the path Ryan. :sarcasm:

That's the part that bothers me more - he's been so highly coveted because of the influence he'll have on the youngsters, both in work ethic and hatred of losing. These kinds of mishaps chip away at the credibility O'Reilly should have and bring with him as someone who said he wanted more of a leadership role with a new team.
