Chasm of Sar (north of Montreal, Qc)

Here you go. An article from the propaganda machine talking mostly about him from last night. The words "shoot," "goal," "shot" were used 15 times. We even got 4 for "physicality" and "battle." And a single "200-foot." Those mostly courtesy of Lappy. The word "pass"......0 times. Not that this organization needs to further beat you over the head with their narrow view of hockey and skill-sets.
The best and cheapest way to find that talent is through the entry draft. The Flyers believe they have a shoot-first talent in Foerster.

It was all about the shooting.

The good prospects tooked good, the ECHL players and unsigned scrubs looked like ECHL players and unsigned scrubs.

Lycksell is not going to be in LHV by January, in fact, he may push Cates for the 3 LW (in which Cates will push Deslauriers and Ratcliffe at 4LW), He's really good, and probably just needs a couple months to adjust to NA ice (more a matter of getting used to tighter windows and different angles). Speed, skill and an example where buiking up made him much better. He can hold his own in crowds, something Frost is still working on.

Foerster looks NHL ready, he was making those nice passes in the WJC and he was making them tonight. He's stronger, skates decently, has the shot but also good ice vision. He'll be pushing for Atkitson's spot in the top six next season.

Desnoyers, what is wrong with him? Skates well, pretty much did everything well. He's not a standout talent but will push for a 4th line job and has middle six upside.

Wisdom didn't really jump out at me, despite the goal, wonder if he's 100%.

Zamula has always been smooth, but he lacks the speed and quickness to create a lot of room at the NHL level, which is why they wanted him to get stronger - not to win a lot of battles, just don't get rag dolled on a regular basis. He's going to make his living with reach and anticipation and a solid but not special offensive skill package. No, he's not as good as York, who is the "stealth" D-man, doesn't jump out at you until you check the metrics.

Attard is still shaky on the defensive end, but skates well enough to compensate with his size, now 6'4 220? That's a big boy. They're right to have him focus on better positioning and anticipation on defense, on offense, just let him loose.

You kinda wish J Cates was more talented, because the brothers seem to have great chemistry.

Did Avon play? Rochett and Gauther didn't impress me, doubt either gets a contract.
Ginning, Samson and Zanetti didn't stand out.

Ersson looks like he's back with the form that made him a top SHL goalie a couple years ago.
.911 Sv% was 11th in the league, but his backup put up .880 Sv % behind the same team.

You are correct the Flyers don’t seem to have any competent person especially in the front office and the development staff is nonexistent.

The front office has a bunch of retired dinosaur players from long ago or moronic idiots that don’t have a clue about running a professional hockey team in todays day and age.

Torchetti became assistant interim coach at the end of January and dropped the interim tag during this offseason as the Flyers retained Torchetti as one of the assistant coaches for the upcoming season.

The Flyers haven’t been able to run their team right so it’s no surprise they can’t run the marketing or logistic side of the business right either.
