you are right, scoring has increased this year, primarily because of greater PP scoring. Goals per game average since the rule change on interference and the two line pass rule change 13 years ago;

Completely agree with you and thank you for these numbers. This season is tied for 2nd since the dead puck era. By the way it's remarkable how steady the numbers remained from 11-12 to 16-17.

Not picking at you personally, just pointing out how funny our perspectives can be when we don't occasionally stop to really look at it!
