McNabb was pretty good tonight. His goal was a nice toe drag and a great finish - he actually shot the puck! They capitalized on pretty much all their chances tonight. It was good to see. The team has the potential to be extremely dangerous this year.
Porter is stepping it up too. Interesting to see him in an offensive role this year as opposed to what he was like with the Sabres.

Only saw about half the game, non-sequentially. Big win obviously but it wasn't a dominating win, as was alluded to a few comments up. McNabb looked really confident out there. I suppose it can be fun being demoted to the AHL when you know it's only for one game. Solid performance from Hackett. Bit of an ugly hit from Armia, though I'd like to see a proper replay. The result was certainly violent-looking. I was surprised no one went after him.
Most times I watch the Amerks I come away loving Freddy Roy. Too bad he doesn't have a bit more ability or he'd make a great 3rd liner in the NHL.

I don't think that it's sold out, but i don't think that you can get multiple tickets together, at this point. I know they are going for pretty steep prices on craigslist and such. Could be worth it though...

I lay a lot of that at Cassidy's feet. He coaches out of the Ron Rolston text book. There's enough talent and enough vets on that team that they should be much better than mediocre.
