why Dickie Moore was a winner!

This says it all!

"Moore was almost Thirty-Seven, and his knees were shot, but he raised the intensity level in the dressing room immediately. Moore once grabbed a player by the collar and pinned him up against the wall for tossing his jersey on the floor. "That's your sweater, that's your life," Moore said, "That emblem, that Blue Note must never hit the floor again" "Doug: The Doug Harvey Story" by William Brown, page 231

RIP to a true legend. One of my grandmother's favorite players. Used to hear stories all the time growing up.

Tough year for long time Habs fans seeing their legends pass.

I spent the day travelling with 2 babies / toddler so I never heard the news till the Stars paid tribute. It was nice of them.

A few years before my time....but on a line with Beliveau and Rocket, what a line that must have been

Truly a Great player amongst greats, the 50's Habs are still the only team to win five Stanley Cups in a row, while the NHL was the Original Six era also making their accomplishments extraordinary indeed!!!...:handclap::handclap::handclap:
