In honor of the end of his Rangers career, here's Lundqvist in the Liberty jersey. Circa 2006 or 2007.

This is such a great jersey that the Rangers should really just switch to it permanently.

Agree it's a great jersey (minus the goofy Rangers shield on the shoulders) but definitely won't go so far as to say the Rangers should move away from their classic diagonals!

This doesn't really fit here I know, but I don't know where else to post it, and don't want to make a new thread. But @Nerowoy nora tolad posted the photo below in a different thread, and while the focus there was on Don Beaupre, what caught my eye was Bobby Smith on the left, specifically that his full name was on the back. I know this happened a few times in the early 1980s (Gordie Howe being the most famous), and I think the Blues had it for a pair of brothers or something at one point, but I've never seen this, and wanted to bring it up. Not sure if I like the full name or not, but it's definitely interesting.

Babych always look so out of place in that jersey. He had the quintessential 70s-80s look with the moustache, so him in a jersey that is very much not from that era is quite jarring.
