Darren Dreger states that Rick Tocchet will be the most sought after coach this summer when his current four-year deal with Arizona expires. Doesn’t believe he’ll be back with the Coyotes. Current deal pays 1.5 mil.

Y a i never understood the Dreger love either. Not even close to being my favourite “insider”. He gives me the vibe that he thinks hes the smartest guy in the room and he will let you know it. I also think he made his name (if i can say that) by being related to Nonis and getting fed from him, no other deep digging, but i dont know that for sure. I feel bad for the media personalities that have lost their livelihoods the past 2 weeks, but this was one cut that Bell could have done that wouldn’t have broke my heart.

Players love him, so that’s a plus. Tough to say he ever really worked out in Arizona. He didn’t surround himself with the best assistant coaches and didn’t look like he could control the on ice product as much as he needed to because of that.
