Are carjackings common in Toronto? I don’t get it, how could anyone get away with this. And wouldn’t it be better they just Jack up a parked car?
Been a lot more of a common occurrence in Toronto over the years. Push to start cars and nicer cars are normally targeted to sell over seas.

Parked cars don't have keys. Some criminals don't care who they rob, and stolen cars like this are often used for more nefarious things.
If they are going to steal cars for the purpose of black market selling, you’d think they be sophisticated enough to break into one and hot wire it or whatever. If they do it at night, they have hours before someone May notice? And this better chances of getting away with it? I don’t know? That’s just what I was thinking.
