Late first rounder is the real value for Chiarot. Don't you think ?

Could had been #16 or #17 ... But Florida refused to surrender.

Do you think the Habs fans that were cheering for Florida influenced the outcome? Like some cosmic force that changed the tides of time?
No I don't. But it's the same the other way too. If the Habhs had finished worse than 5th overall, I would not have credited tanker fans for that. IOW, fans don't have an influence either way.

What I did not like was people telling me how stupid it was to be concerned about a Florida better result and thus wish for any Hab wins.

I have always find Bill Zito was managing the panthers like someone on playstation/xbox at mode « be a gm ». By trading all his picks he had (until 2025). Trading his best player in Huberdeau last summer.
But at the end, it works very well
For him. Bergevin should have takes notes.

We deserve it.
The Habs deserve it, for not beating Flordia a single time.

Those who dismissed the concern that Florida could upset the applecart a lot by getting into the playoffs deserve criticism for their logic, unless they can show that drafting 5th and 29th is better than 6th and 13th.
